Requirements for Admission
An applicant for admission to the Master of Science program in Computer Science & Technology is expected to have earned a B.S. degree from an approved program (i.e. Computer Science, Information Technology/Science, Industrial Engineering and Industrial Technology), or its equivalent.
Admission Standards
The basic admission standards are the same as those for other graduate programs at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Specifically, these include: an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale or 2.70 on a 4.00 scale and additional GRE score of 306 (overall points), and three letters of recommendation from faculty familiar with the academic ability of the applicant. International students must score at least 550 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
Provisional Admission
Students who do not meet the minimum admission requirements or whose potential for success is not evident from their application may be considered for provisional admission. These students will be reclassified to full standing once they satisfy the conditions specified above.
